Ingredients
- 1 can of chickpeas (content 230 g)
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 dl chopped parsley
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 3/4 tsp salt

1 tbsp Natural Nordic nettle

(or 1 tbsp Natural Nordic Wild Power)

(or 1 tbsp Natural Nordic nettle-bilberry)
- 1 tbsp crushed mint
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Oil for frying
Directions
Drain the chickpeas.
- Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.
- Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture onto a moistened cutting board. Shape it into a log and divide it into 30 pieces. Roll each piece into balls.
- Pour sesame seeds onto a separate plate and roll the balls in them.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls over low heat for about 10 minutes, turning them occasionally. Keep the balls warm and serve with the sauce.
- Garnish with plenty of chopped herbs (parsley, mint and more).
